Jonathan and I become annoyed at how walkers were paid less than the living and minimum wage. Similarly, we saw that customers were paying over the odds for this simple service, with the agencies taking a larger than needed cut. We were also saddened by how some walkers just weren't cut out for the job.
To solve this problem we decided to create our own agency. We pay a minimum of £10 per hour per dog to our walkers, meaning they can make a decent wage! We also only charge one or two pounds more than this to our customers which goes straight to running this site, and administrative time. Lastly and importantly, we only hire walkers who love dogs as much as we do.
We think all business' should be fair on all sides, especially when they involve animals.
